Welcome to the Skelton Charity online application form.

The Skelton Charity has approx.£120,000 in 2025 for grants to registered charities in Lancashire, Greater Manchester, and Merseyside (including the unitary authorities of Blackpool, Blackburn, Warrington, and Halton). Modest grants, usually for between £500 and £3,000 may be awarded:

• to registered charities (including CIOs)

• operating for a minimum of 12 months

• operating within the eligible geographical boundaries

• for one-off expenditure, projects or capital expenditure

Grants are not made to individuals.
Grants are not made for salaries or other recurring costs.
Applications from organisations who have received Skelton Trust funding in the previous 2 years will NOT be considered.
The Trustees do not usually fund large building appeals.

The grant programme is open for applications from Thursday 17th April 2025. The deadline for submission is 5pm on Friday 30th May 2025. Applications submitted after this date/time will not be considered.

Applications will be considered at the Trustees’ meeting in July.
