Welcome to the LCVS Community Impact Fund grant application.
Our Community Impact Fund helps voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector organisations and registered charities do even more to build stronger communities across Liverpool and Merseyside.

How does it work?
Eligible organisations can apply for grants of up to £3,000 for projects that meet one or more of four main priority areas:
* Health
* Education
* Income Stability
* Arts and Culture

For this round, we will be prioritising projects that support Care Leavers and Women (experiencing poverty due to the impact of the cost-of-living crisis).The definition we will be using in relation to Care Leavers for the purpose of this grant is: “Young people aged 16 -25, who have recently left the care of the Liverpool City Region Local Authority, or who are preparing to leave care.”

What can you apply for?
The current cost of living situation is having a real impact on communities and organisations working in those communities. We recognise the vital work that voluntary and community organisations continue to do throughout the current crisis, and the resultant pressure on budgets. For this round of funding, we will support general running costs, including staff costs.
Please note: applications requesting funding for the purchase of food for distribution in communities will not be prioritised, as funding for this is available elsewhere. Visit the Feeding Liverpool website for further information about the local Good Food network and to enquire about access to food for distribution.

Who can apply?
Eligible organisations must be able to deliver against at least one of four main priority areas and be a Merseyside based, constituted voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisation, operating on a not-for-profit basis.
Please refer to the detailed guidance notes for more information about eligibility.
Organisations which have received a CIF grant in the last 2 rounds will not be considered for this round of CIF funding (e.g. if you are applying in Autumn 2024, you should not have received funding in Autumn 2023/Spring 2024)
unless applying specifically for a grant for Care Leavers or Women experiencing poverty.
The deadline to apply is Friday 18th October 2024 at 5pm.
